Why Become an Elk?

Becoming a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks is a rewarding experience. The proud history of the Elks began back in 1868 and through the years, has donated millions of dollars and countless volunteer hours to local communities and national programs.

As Elks, we inculcate the principles of Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love, and Fidelity.

You may hear that B.P.O.E also stands for “The Best People on Earth”. This is not an exaggeration, Elks Lodges across the nation are a safe place to meet new friends, see old friends and socialize in a safe and friendly environment.
While membership in the B.P.O.E. is by invitation, we encourage you to call the lodge (928-453-3557) and schedule a tour. Annual dues are $105.50 per year and spouse cards are an additional $2. As an Elk, your membership card grants you access to all Elks lodges across the country.
If you feel that becoming a member of the Elks is a good fit for you, we encourage you to fill out an application, (available at the Lodge) and have your Proposer (current member) sign it. Completed applications must be presented to the Lodge Office during business hours with a one-time application fee of $75.00 and make checks payable to Elks 2399. First-year dues will be prorated from April 1st and will be payable prior to initiation. For more information about the Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks visit the Grand Lodge website at elks.org.
We look forward to meeting you!

NOTE:  Per Grand Lodge Statutes, candidates for Elk membership must have a valid mailing address in the local area of our Lodge.
